What are affiliate programs?
Affiliate programs allow you to earn money by advertising goods and services on your website. Advertising involves you placing some amount of html and/or JavaScript (usually supplied by the program) into your web content. This code allows the advertiser to place banner adds on your page as well as link you to any clickthroughs generated by the ad.
